Roger Neal leads Connected Growth & Strategy with 20 years of growth and innovation experience across Internet, Media, Marketplaces, Subscriptions, Social and Mobile domains in pioneering roles at eBay, AOL and Gazelle (used mobile device marketplace), as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, and a change agent at media companies Time Warner and BusinessWeek in New York.
As founding executive director of NYC Media Lab for the Bloomberg Administration, Roger built a sustaining organization that connects top tech and data researchers at New York’s Universities with digital media and telecom companies to grow the innovation economy of New York City. As GM of BusinessWeek Digital, he led a product partnership and investment in pre-IPO LinkedIn. He has positioned early stage firms to raise over $50 million in Venture Capital. He has written for Forbes and Adweek and has taught at Columbia Business School.
